This session aims to inform parents/carers who want to support a young person who is questioning their gender identity. Professional perspective, Personal account; honest and open discussion in a safe space.

Felix Moore

Felix Moore is a transgender, autistic actor and activist who trained at Drama Studio London. He played Adrian in Rotterdam on BBC Radio 3 in 2018, and has appeared on the Today Programme on Radio 4 and in the Daily Telegraph discussing transgender and autistic issues.

Dr Kate Whitaker

Dr Kate Whitaker is a Clinical Psychologist whose doctoral research focused on autistic people’s experiences of gender and mental health. Kate currently works in the NHS, supporting young people exploring their gender, and their families.
